Ronnie Fieg x 850 ‘Brooklyn Bridge’
Kith founder Ronnie Fieg continued his ongoing collaboration with New Balance for the 850 ‘Brooklyn Bridge.’ The gradient of the sky behind the bridge is represented in the light blue micro-perforated nubuck on the toe and darker blue oily pigskin on the quarter panel. Micro-perforated saddle leather on the heel mimics the bridge’s limestone construction, and the red hits on the ‘N’ logos and leather tongue are based on the flag at the top of the bridge. Other features include custom-printed insoles with the schematics of the Brooklyn Bridge and a two-tone icy blue translucent outsole inspired by the water of the East River. It dropped alongside a ‘Central Park’ colorway at Kith in November 2014.
